Lasering MiXto SX Reviewed by Curtis

PRODUCT UPDATE: Cresent Laser no longer markets the Lasering MiXto laser, but we still support our customers who own this product.  For those who have not yet purchased an aesthetic skin resurfacing laser, we now recommend, sell and support the Matrix CO2 Fractional Laser.

This article is maintained for historical purposes, but has been removed from our menus.  Cresent Laser is not in any way affiliated with Lasering USA.

The MiXto SX Fractional CO2 Laser was profiled in the October 2007 issue of Cutis, a monthly publication covering Cutaneous Medicine for General Practitioners.

The article said that, "The laser offers innovative fractional technology combined with a tighter focal point, thereby reducing heat buildup for less pain and quicker recovery time.  A high-speed scanner divides the treatment area into 4 quadrants, which keeps the longest possible interval between 2 adjacent spots.  With immediate contraction of collagen fibers, wrinkles and loose skin are reduced, leaving skin laxity noticeably improved.  Mixto SX also removes pigmentation problems and reduces pore size, acne scars, and other textural irregularities.  In addition, the laser is effective on discoloration from sun damage and aging and on precancerous cells that may be invisible to the naked eye.  Anesthesia is not used in most cases, and patients can expect a short procedure time (up to 4-cm2 treatment area per scan).  With the MiXto fractional laser technology, surgeons have infinite control, as they can carefully regulate the depth of penetration and the amount of heat delivered by the beam."
